Raiders to break ground on new headquarters in Henderson Nevada today

With the Raiders’ new stadium in Las Vegas well underway, the business of building their new headquarters is now set to begin as well. With the date for opening to be a few months ahead of the opening of the stadium in July of 2020.

The facility will be built in neighboring Henderson Nevada, across from the Henderson Executive airport about ten miles south of the stadium site.

The team will officially break ground today on a 55-acre plot the team purchased last year, with the first phase of the project occupying 30 acres of that land.

It will feature four and a half fields in total — three outside and one and a half inside. There will also be a weight room, training room, pool, locker room, offices, a kitchen, and a studio.

Below is a layout of the grounds. This and the rendering of the facility itself released by the Las Vegas Review Journal.
